Where can I find pricing?

Each product is made to your exact requirements. As different specifications can affect the price and the lead time, we require you to select the options you would like, such as finish, to provide you with an accurate quote and current lead time. The easiest way to do this is by filling out the enquiry form on the product page.


Is there anything in stock I can buy?

We make everything to order, as such all our fixtures carry a typical lead time of 6-8 weeks excluding shipping. Custom sized designs and bespoke orders will carry a longer lead time. We understand that projects do not always stay on schedule, so please let us know the date you are working to and we shall endeavour to meet it.


Can I buy chain, rod or ceiling canopies?

Everything you will find under the fittings menu: ceiling canopies, rod and chain; are only available as specifications with our products, and are not available for individual purchase. These designs and components are only available as replacements for existing orders. For help with replacement orders please see the help with replacements and repair section below.


What do the dimensions refer to?

All dimensions stated on the product page are the maximum overall dimensions. The height dimension is standard but customisable to your requirements. We usually recommend no shorter than the diameter of the dish. The imperial dimension is rounded to the nearest quarter inch from the measurement in millimetres. On ceiling canopies, measurements may be rounded down to ensure that junction boxes will be covered. As each design is hand made small variations may occur. If you require the product to be a specific dimension, or to match an existing piece, please let us know at the time of enquiry.

US clients should make special note of the size of existing junction boxes to ensure the ceiling canopy will cover it. Please always consult your installing electrician to ensure the correct size. The showroom can advise the exact dimension of any design or design feature.


How do I work out the overall height?

It is best to consider clearance first. What is the height of your ceiling? Will people be walking underneath the fitting? If so allow 7 ft from the ground and whatever is remaining in your ceiling height is available for the drop of the fixture.


Do you have any flush fitting dish lights?

It is not possible to make the alabaster dishes completely flush. We do have a semi flush design and are able to customise some models to fit as a semi flush mount. Please make a note when filling out the enquiry form on the product page.


How do I specify products for Commercial and Contract projects?

Charles Edwards has over 20 years of experience in dealing with commercial and contract projects across the globe, including hotels, restaurants, bars, super-prime residence and yachts. An account manager will work closely with you along with our workshop team to ensure not only a beautiful product, but also that lighting codes and deadlines are met. Can I increase the light in the fixture?

Alabaster is a semi opaque material and the dish design emits a soft tonal light through the dish and a clear light upwards. The most efficient way to increase the light output is through the use of low-energy bulbs. All our lighting fixtures will take low energy bulbs without any modification. The small and medium size dishes typically have 3 bulb holders and the large dishes will have 4. We limit the use of incandescent bulbs to 60w as alabaster can discolour if exposed to too high a heat. LED bulbs are an excellent alternative.


Can I use the light fixture with a Dimmer/ Lutron System / Creston System?

All lights are compatible with standard lighting design systems. Depending on the system you are using you may need to use a transformer or a certain type of bulb, which the showrooms can advise you on.


Where do I find care instructions?

The care of your product will depend on the finish specified. All care instructions are listed with each finish in the Finish section of the website.

How do I order replacements or get help with a repair?

As many of our products are made to order we will require the original four/five digit invoice/quote number and name they were ordered under. Please include a picture of the replacement, or repair required. When taking photos please do so with and without flash to ensure a more accurate representation of finish. We shall work with you to ensure the most effective and timely remedy.
