Description

Un-lacquered polished brass is a smooth reflective finish. The finish will dull over time to a soft gold-brown tone.
Exposure to moisture will eventually lead to a Verdigris patina. Small solder joins may be visible on some lanterns, these grey with age.

Care

Un-lacquered: To maintain a bright finish we recommend polishing with ‘Brasso’ and a pure cotton cloth.
Stove Lacquered: Wipe clean with a damp pure cotton cloth and dab dry with a pure cotton cloth. Use no abrasive cleaners.

Exposure to Moisture

For environments with exposure to moisture, or for those who do not wish to polish, we offer a stove lacquer; a clear protective coating baked on top of the finish.

Suitable for interior use. Stove lacquer recommended for bathroom use.
